Dana and JD had a very intimate celebration at the Villa Del sol D'Oro in Sierra Madre among their closest friends and family.  This place is just the perfect setting for this vintage romantic inspired wedding.  Most if not all of the beautiful details was specifically crafted by none other than Dana herself.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Magical Jason! The shot of me with my dad and the way you captured how JD looks at me melts my heart to butter - hahah! And the shot from the back during the slideshow - classic! Oh how you captured those "moments" =) Thank you so much for being our photographer and for taking all my crazy ideas for the look and style we were aiming for like a mission and delivering 100%. You don't disappoint my friend.

Hey guys!  I just want to pop up and say thank you to all the peeps that have been checking, reading, and continually supporting this blog.  It has been a very busy wedding season that has just passed and I have too many images to share.  And that I am working as fast as I can to get them out to my awesome clients. In the next few weeks, I will try to post random favorites images from weddings and engagement sessions that had been accumulating within the last couple of months.  Once again, thank you for your patience and please come back soon ;)  Here are a few from Cassie and Robert's beautiful Long Beach wedding.

absolutely LOVE the group shots dude ! well placed in front of each window !

Julie and Casey had their wedding at the magnificent Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite.  This has been one of my most favorite destination weddings of 2009.  This is my third trip to Yosemite and I have to say that it never gets old.  Julie and Casey is an amazingly sweet and kindhearted couple.  They had a heartfelt wedding ceremony witnessed by a small group of loving family and friends.  At the reception, there were an abundance of great company, food, wine, and music to rock the place down.  Everything worked out perfectly and I couldn't have asked for anything more.  Also love the fact that I get to hang out with my talented photographer friend Maurice Martinez from Northern California.

September 24, 2009 Jenny + Andrew :: The Hitch
We had such an awesome time hanging out and bonding with Jenny and Andrew on their wedding day.  These two are so incredibly generous, sweet, fun and completely in love with each other.  It was just a good-ol-time from beginning til end.  Oh, and we really didn't mind having buffet-style sushi and prime rib for dinner.  YES, YOU HEARD ME!  Our team this time around included Quan Nguyen as second photographer and Nick Wilson as my assistant.  Jenny and Andrew...we felt privileged and honored to be at one of the most important days of your lives.

During their tea ceremony, the girls made Andrew sang a song and played other games before letting him through. jen+drew_02.jpg jen+drew_03.jpg I think Jenny was more excited about getting a bag of Doritos than red envelopes:) jen+drew_04.jpg jen+drew_05.jpg Then she was transformed into a beautiful bride. jen+drew_06.jpg jen+drew_06A.jpg Jenny gave all of her bridemaids pearl necklaces as a surprise gift. jen+drew_07.jpg A picture of Jen's dad. jen+drew_08.jpg jen+drew_09.jpg jen+drew_11.jpg jen+drew_12.jpg jen+drew_13.jpg The first look. jen+drew_14.jpg jen+drew_15.jpg jen+drew_17.jpg jen+drew_16.jpg An emotional moment shared by Andrew and mother in law. jen+drew_18.jpg jen+drew_19.jpg jen+drew_20.jpg jen+drew_21.jpg jen+drew_23.jpg jen+drew_24.jpg jen+drew_25.jpg jen+drew_26.jpg jen+drew_27.jpg jen+drew_28.jpg jen+drew_29.jpg jen+drew_30.jpg jen+drew_31.jpg jen+drew_32.jpg jen+drew_33.jpg Love this shot of Jenny and her brother. jen+drew_34.jpg I totally got lucky with this shot during the garter toss. jen+drew_35.jpg jen+drew_36.jpg jen+drew_37.jpg jen+drew_38.jpg

I felt so privileged to be Jodi and Troy's wedding photographer.  These guys are two of the most classiest people that I have ever met.  On top of that,  they are so sweet and genuine.  And after meeting their families, I completely understood where they got these traits from.   They had such an awsome wedding at Rancho Las Lomas with so many amazing details.  Thanks guys for having us.  We had a blast.
